Not all journalists are created equal

Search for Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi-Turkish Islamist activist who hated Jews and backed Hamas, and the results are legion.

Search for Jerry Wolkowitz, an American Jewish journalist, at the Washington Post and you get zero results.

While the Washington Post weeps and wails over Khashoggi, an anti-Semitic foreign Islamist, it has no interest in the murder of a Jewish journalist in the United States.

Jerry Wolkowitz, a longtime EMT, photojournalist and son of Jewish Holocaust survivors who was the victim of a vicious racially-motivated attack, has died at age 56 after nearly six months on life support.

On May 1, 2018, 25-year-old Jamil Hubbard allegedly approached Wolkowitz from behind and punched him in the head and face. He then allegedly pulled Wolkowitz’s body into the parking lot of his Freehold, New Jersey apartment building and ran him over with his car, leaving him for dead.

Wolkowitz was a freelance journalist and photographer for numerous publications including the Asbury Park Press. He was also an EMT and ambulance driver and volunteer with the Freehold First Aid and Rescue Squad.

There are more details and they’re horrifying.

Jerry Wolkowitz, a longtime EMT and journalist, has died nearly six months after a brutal, allegedly racially motivated beating left him on life support. He was 56.

Wolkowitz, described as an “innocent soul” by younger medics he took under his wing, was walking near his Harding Road apartment on the morning of May 1 when authorities believe 26-year-old Jamil S. Hubbard of Sayreville beat him and dragged him into a parking lot

Wolkowitz was hospitalized for weeks before being taken to a long-term care facility, where he stayed until his kidneys failed, friends said. Family members took turns to visit him each week until he died.

In the months that followed the assault, Wolkowitz’s loved ones remained by his side through infections and organ failures.

Hubbard “explained that he chose him because he was a white man,” Assistant Monmouth County Prosecutor Keri-Leigh Schaefer said in a September court hearing. Although Hubbard had never met Wolkowitz, he wanted to kill him because of his race, she said.

But the Washington Post can’t be bothered to care about a murdered American journalist. Just about anti-Semitic Islamists.

Animal Farm?

CNN’s history of dismissing, inciting, downplaying, or outright advocating in favor of political violence against Republicans and conservatives is a long and sordid one.

“The left is not necessarily aiming at totalitarianism. But their know-it-all mindset leads repeatedly and pervasively in that direction, even if by small steps, each of which might be called ‘micro-totalitarianism.'”
–Thomas Sowell

“Those who seek absolute power, even though they seek it to do what they regard as good, are simply demanding the right to enforce their own version of heaven on earth. And let me remind you, they are the very ones who always create the most hellish tyrannies. Absolute power does corrupt, and those who seek it must be suspect and must be opposed.”
–Barry Goldwater GOP Acceptance speech

CNN spent much of last Tuesday defending mob action against Republicans as a “Constitutional right” and as fearless acts of free speech.

Far leftist CNN host Don Lemon launched into a full-throated defense of mob action:

“In the Constitution, you can protest whenever and wherever you want. It doesn’t tell you that you can’t do it in a restaurant, that you can’t do it on a football field. It doesn’t tell you that you can’t do it on a cable news — you can do it wherever you want.”

“To call people mobs because they are exercising their constitutional right is just beyond the pale,” Lemon said before cutting to a commercial.

CNN’s history of dismissing, inciting, downplaying, or outright advocating in favor of political violence against Republicans and conservatives is a long and sordid one.

“Michelle [Obama] always says ‘When they go low, we go high,’” Holder told the audience, recently released video shows. “No. No. When they go low, we kick them.”

“When the majority of the people become like sheep, who will tolerate intolerance rather than make a fuss, then there is no limit to how far any group will go.”

The Killer Dogs of Cat Island

From the start, William Prestre’s program was noticeably unsuccessful, especially when compared to other military dog training programs.

Killer Dog

Reblogged from History Hut.

During the Second World War, all the warring countries were looking for an edge in their war effort, be it through machinery and science, new methods of personnel training or, unfortunately, even experimental drug-use. While most military research and development funding went to the tried and true necessities, such as weaponry, tanks, airplanes and ships, the war-torn countries of the world were also open to investigating more abnormal methods of warfare. Looking for any and every way to win the war, some countries invested their resources into turning mankind’s furry, four-legged best friends into trained man-killers.

Dogs have long been used by the military during war. They were often deployed as scouts, messengers and rescuers, accompanying ground forces. Yet, during WWII, dogs were increasingly trained in some countries not to support, but to kill. Most notable (or notorious) was the Soviet Union, which may have fielded around 40,000 suicide-bomber dogs, which were specifically trained to detonate explosives underneath enemy tanks. The soviet scheme, introduced in 1941, was far from perfect. The dogs could easily become scared and confused, causing some of the poor animals to run back to their Russian handlers. This, far too often, resulted in the dogs blowing their own troops to pieces. Even though the Russian dog-bomb strategy was not considered very successful, the United States, too, wanted to try its own hand at a killer canine program.

Shortly after the Japanese bombed the United States naval base at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941, the U. S. military was approached by a Swiss man named William A. Prestre, who, at the time, was living in New Mexico. Prestre pitched to the military a novel idea—he claimed he could train dogs to become autonomous killing machines who would be able to hunt down and eliminate Japanese soldiers without the help of handlers. The United States, heeding its venture-capitalist spirit, decided to give the man funding and personnel for a three-month trial period.

With U. S. military approval, William Prestre quickly went about gathering the resources he would need to train the perfect killer dogs. For a location that would somewhat mirror conditions in the Japanese Empire, he found an island in the Gulf of Mexico, ironically named Cat Island, situated just off the coast of Mississippi. Next, he needed bait that would teach his dogs how to single out Japanese targets—this is where the story gets a lot more scandalous.

In 1942, during the month of November, twenty-five Japanese-American soldiers from Company B of the 100th Infantry Battalion were sent to Cat Island with the impression that they would be aiding in the military’s dog training program. Little did they know what their role in the “training” really meant.

William A. Prestre founded his whole theory of autonomous killer dogs from a false premise—he thought the Japanese, as an ethnic people, all had a specific smell that he could train his dogs to attack. Consequently, the twenty-five Japanese-American soldiers on Cat Island were not handlers, or even trainers; they were bait.

Prestre instructed the trainers and the soldiers to beat the dogs, so as to make the animals more vicious. In-between the beatings, which sometimes drew blood, the dogs were commanded to hunt down and attack the twenty-five Japanese-American servicemen. Thankfully, the soldiers were wearing bite-resistant padding, but almost all of them received wounds during their stay on Cat Island.

From the start, William Prestre’s program was noticeably unsuccessful, especially when compared to other military dog training programs. Prestre’s allotted three months of time was up in January 1943. In his exhibition to the military on January 12, 1943, Prestre could not produce any dogs that could hunt down and kill Japanese soldiers without the help of military handlers. Even worse, his dogs seemed less effective than other military attack dogs. After witnessing the poor exhibition, the military pulled its support from the project at Cat Island, and William A. Prestre was off the payroll by early February.

Prestre, however, took his failure poorly. He truly believed in his program and proclaimed his former military overseers to be incompetent. Some say he even threatened to release damaging information about the military and the president of the United States, possibly resulting in him being put under FBI surveillance. Nevertheless, the fate of the peculiar Swiss dog trainer, just like his Cat Island program, remains a somewhat vague grey-area of history.

Ferguson Redux?

The way things are heading, the rules of engagement are likely going to change for the police. This will make things worse for everyone.

Pittsburgh area police shooting

A 17-year-old was shot three times and killed by a police officer in Pennsylvania while running away from a car that was pulled over in connection to a reported shooting in the area on Tuesday, officials said.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, ACPD Superintendent Coleman McDonough said: “An investigation revealed that the shooter fired nine .40 caliber rounds at the victim from a passing vehicle. The victim also returned fire at the vehicle.”

He also revealed two firearms were recovered from the suspect’s vehicle.

When McDonough was asked if Rose had been shot in the back, he responded that the teen was shot in “various places on his body,” adding that the medical examiner would release further information.

“I understand in today’s atmosphere anytime a young man is killed there’s cause for outrage in some areas,” he said. “However, I would urge people to give us time to conduct an objective investigation, to gather facts.”

The way things are heading, the rules of engagement are likely going to change for the police. This will make things worse for everyone, as I explain below.

Right now, there are enough police out there whose personality is such that they live for getting into other people’s business. They live for the rush of getting into, or just being involved, in serious crimes and such. Some officers will age out of this mentality, others can’t ever let it go and thus are constantly doing traffic stops, interjecting themselves into another person’s life where that person is just loitering or walking down the sidewalk, etc..

These officers crave that interaction, trying to find criminals to arrest for the most part. This actually gets results. Wanted people are discovered, guns and drugs are taken off the street (but as it stands now, they are quickly replaced).

On the other side of the spectrum are officers who no longer care. They show up, take their runs, try to minimize time spent on scene, etc.. Some are lazy, some just want to reduce their liability of anything going south, some are bitter they didn’t get promoted, etc..

From articles and reports I read, things are really screwed up. There is a movement in police academies to train “deescalation.” This is the new word of the day in law enforcement.

There are reports where they are telling officers to slow down their response, don’t just rush into something, because getting into a rush can be a factor if things go south (ie: Kicking in the wrong door, not checking the address a second or third time on the warrant, etc.).

This is both good and bad. Good in that it will likely reduce errors, maybe mean fewer officers will get hurt. Bad because I predict police will become more like the fire department. They won’t hangout at the station house, but they will just hangout in their vehicles, hidden, or maybe if they are social and want interaction, local businesses, parking lots, etc..

The problem is that crime might actually get worse. The fewer go go go officers there are, the less chances that criminals are interrupted during the time they are between committing crimes. The powers that be want both, but you can’t have both. You have to take the good with the bad and pro-active policing really can’t be combined with deescalation and/or the slow things down philosophy. It will be interesting to see where things are in the future. Is the Pittsburgh area in Allegheny County destined to be the next site of a BLM riot?

It’s not “One World”

It is said one of the country’s favorite sayings is women are for children, boys are for pleasure.

Dancing Boys of Afghanistan 002

We, as Americans, have too often bought into the fantasy that it is all “One world” and that it is our moral obligation to export “freedom” and “democracy” to some of the “less enlightened” “Third-world” countries. This attitude goes back to the colonial mindset of the 1800s and the concept of “the white mans’ burden”. Time after time in place after place it has led to hostility conflict and bloodshed. Take, for example, our current involvement in Afghanistan, (and the involvement of the Russians before them and the British before them).

Afghanistan has long been considered one of the most religious countries in the world: a place where men and women follow Islamic doctrine carefully

But behind the devout exterior, the country is hiding a dark secret – one which the government has tried to sweep under the rug.

Bacha bazi, which translate as ‘boy play’, is on the surface a harmless form of entertainment – young boys dancing for the entertainment of their elders.

In reality, it is often little more than sex slavery, where boys as young as 10 are passed around a group of middle aged men for their own sexual gratification.

Afghanistan’s poverty has been a driving force in the rise of bacha bazi in the last 15 years. It makes it easy for predators to prowl the streets targeting ‘pretty’ young boys, enticing them from their families with promises of work or education.

These promises more often than not come to nothing: instead, the boys are trained as dancers, made to perform to groups of men dressed as girls, bells on their flowing skirts and make up on the faces.

They command the attention of the room as they move to the traditional songs, with words which do more than hint at what is to come.

Once the party is over, and the dancing has finished, the true horror of their role is revealed.

Then the boys are passed between the men, taken to hotel rooms where they can be sexually abused.

‘The boys don’t earn anything from the parties, but they live as though they are in a relationship with their masters, so their masters keep them, house them and buy them food and things.

They have sex with their masters and then at the parties they are abused by different people.

It is said one of the country’s favorite sayings is women are for children, boys are for pleasure.

The fact homosexuality is forbidden in Islam is swept under the carpet by those who participate, who claim there is a loophole. They are not in love with the boys, and therefore not gay.

Soldiers fighting in Afghanistan after 2001 spoke of their surprise at watching grown men walking down the streets of the conservative country, hand in hand with a young boy.

But even the coalition forces looked the other way.

Unfortunately, these dark actions are not isolated to Afghanistan. Back as far as 2011 there have been hundreds of arrests in regard to child abduction, slavery and forced prostitution. One of the early Interpol investigations was of an internet-based pedophile group associated with a website ,”boylover-dot-net”, that boasted over 70,000 followers.

On Feb. 23, 2018 President Trump gave a press conference from the White House addressing how human trafficking is a “dire problem” domestically and internationally. Trump’s press conference was barely a blip in the mainstream media and the arrests have been almost completely ignored by the MSM altogether.

-On Jan. 27 authorities arrested 42 in a human trafficking operation in Tennessee.

-On Jan. 29 authorities announced that 474 were arrested in a statewide California human trafficking operation and 28 sexually exploited children were rescued.

108 were arrested from Jan. 18 to Feb. 5 in Illinois as part of a national sex trafficking sting operation.

178 people were arrested in Texas for sex trafficking in sting that operated in January till Super Bowl Sunday.

16 people were arrested in January in Michigan for sex trafficking during the Detroit Auto Show.

-In February, authorities arrested 11 in Virginia in a child sex sting.

-On Feb. 14 the Polk County sheriff announced that 42 were arrested in Florida in child pornography related cases.

The president genuinely does care about children and he’s vowed to make solving the human trafficking epidemic a priority. The recent pedophile arrests are just the tip of the iceberg. We can only pray that this abomination is dealt with quickly and decisively.

Fake(?) News

What we do with our bowels is very important to us. We basically viscerally remember the times we crapped on others. The more people under us, the bigger the memory.

I distinctly remembered we all threw our bodies on top of each other. We were making a mountain of bodies.

We were all laughing and wrestling to see who would get to the top of the bodies. I was on top. I was five years old. We were in Raster elementary school kindergarten.  Laughing. Having fun.

Then I took a dump. A big one.

And we were all in shorts. Something I like to describe as the “trickle-down effect” began to occur.

Everyone started yelling. Everyone started insulting me and running away from me.

A teacher hit me.

The next memory I have was that my mom was waiting on the sidewalk in front of the house. “What did you do!” she said and took me by the hand and brought me inside.

That may have been my first memory of a life-changing experience.

What we do with our bowels is very important to us. We basically viscerally remember the times we crapped on others. The more people under us, the bigger the memory.

I once visited with a radio news producer while he was producing his show. On the news that night there were elections, earthquakes, wars, economics, smart pundits, etc.

All things to scare the hell out of you.

In the middle of the show the producer told me, “100% of our job is filling up the spaces in between advertisements.” So here I had it: a guy whose entire job is to create the prime time news for YOU was telling me it was a scam. That’s the news.

If you can, tell me a single thing you saw on the news today that was either not a lie or was in some way relevant to your life. one thing… just one single thing… I’ll wait.

Foxes Guarding The Hen House

It is now reported that long-time Clinton operative Sidney Blumenthal was feeding information to the MI-6 operative Steele, who was working with Fusion GPS, who was hired and paid by the Clinton Campaign and the Democratic National Committee to create a political opposition dossier on candidate Donald Trump. Some money was filtered through, (laundered by), the Perkins, Coie law firm that originally came from a lobbyist in DC who got it from his client, a Russian national.

Confused yet?

With the Senate Criminal Referral to the FBI things are getting “curiouser and curiouser” in the swamp.

curiouser and curiouser

It is now reported that long-time Clinton operative Sidney Blumenthal was feeding information to the MI-6 operative Steele, who was working with Fusion GPS, who was hired and paid by the Clinton Campaign and the Democratic National Committee to create a political opposition dossier on candidate Donald Trump. Some money was filtered through, (laundered by), the Perkins, Coie law firm that originally came from a lobbyist in DC who got it from his client, a Russian national.

Confused yet?

This spurious political hit piece was originally couriered over to the FBI by Senator John McCain, (R?- Arizona). At this point it is unknown where Sen McCain got his hands on it. The FBI used this “salacious”, (then FBI Director Comey‘s word), dossier as the basis for petitioning a FISA court to allow surveillance of a United States national, Carter Paige and thereby the political campaign of candidate Donald Trump.

The FBI, in the application for the first FISA warrant and in at least three subsequent extensions to it, failed to inform the court of the political nature of the basis for their request.

In tomorrows’ blog, I will break down in outline fashion who did what and I will attempt to illustrate the “why”.

Bottom line here is that the WAS collusion with Russian persons to influence the 2016 presidential election… but that collusion was not involved with persons from the Trump camp.

Rodding Out the DC Sewer

There was essentially no oversight on any activity happening inside the NSD.

So it might not be so coincidental the players used on the DOJ side of “Operation Trump” (Bruce Ohr, John Carlin, etc.) all seem to come from within the National Security Division.

FBI Personnel tree

David Laufman was the Department of Justice, National Security Division, Deputy Asst. Attorney General in charge of counterintelligence, cyber security, counterespionage and export controls.

Laufman would have been involved and hold knowledge of the FISA “Title-1” surveillance program initiated on target Carter Page and the “incidental” Trump campaign officials. Laufman would also have close contact with former Asst. Deputy Attorney Bruce Ohr; husband of Fusion GPS employee Nellie Ohr.

Additionally, as a result of his specific responsibilities David Laufman would also have been involved in any FARA investigations of General Mike Flynn (Turkish lobbying), and/or Paul Manafort (Ukraine lobbying); and had access to FISA-702(16)(17) database use for incidental surveillance and subsequent unmasking etc.

After President Trump won the election, Attorney General Jeff Sessions reversed the prior position of Sally Yates who was keeping the DOJ National Security Division free from Inspector General Horowitz oversight. Now the DOJ-NSD has direct oversight, the officials within the DOJ-NSD have come down with a severe case of sunlight aversion.

Responding to a 2015 request by the DOJ Office of Inspector General, Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates told the internal watchdog they could not investigate the National Security Division.

There was essentially no oversight on any activity happening inside the NSD.

So it might not be so coincidental the players used on the DOJ side of “Operation Trump” (Bruce Ohr, John Carlin, etc.) all seem to come from within the National Security Division.

Their desperation seems to have gone even to the extent of misleading the FISA court on the validity of the underlying documents. The DOJ/FBI ‘small group’ really seemed quite desperate to gain that FISA Title-1 surveillance authority…

From the Strzok texts: “…. they really, really needed it:”
…”I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office — that there’s no way he gets elected — but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk. It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40″…

Considering that mounting evidence, does this March 2017 interview with former Obama administration official Evelyn Farkas (Deputy Asst. Secretary of Defense), appearing on MSNBC, make more sense now?

“I was urging my former colleagues, and, and frankly speaking the people on the Hill [Democrat politicians], it was more actually aimed at telling the Hill people, get as much information as you can – get as much intelligence as you can – before President Obama leaves the administration.”

“Because I had a fear that somehow that information would disappear with the senior [Obama] people who left; so it would be hidden away in the bureaucracy, um, that the Trump folks – if they found out HOW we knew what we knew about their, the Trump staff, dealing with Russians – that they would try to compromise those sources and methods; meaning we no longer have access to that intelligence.”

“So I became very worried because not enough was coming out into the open and I knew that there was more. We have very good intelligence on Russia; so then I had talked to some of my former colleagues and I knew that they were also trying to help get information to the Hill. That’s why you had the leaking”…

The Department of Justice’s own Inspector General, Michael Horowitz, was previously not allowed to investigate anything that happened within the NSD branch of the Department of Justice.

According to the Washington Post, David Laufman resigned effective yesterday, Wednesday February 7th when he said farewell to colleagues. He cited personal reasons.

My opinion is that he personally wanted to avoid criminal charges.

It’s not a swamp, it’s a sewer

There is a picture circulating of President Trump’s Chief of Staff John Kelly doing a “facepalm” during the POTUS’ speech at the UN. GOP pundit Ed Rollins stated on the Lou Dobbs show that there are reports that Kelly was a supporter of Hillary Clinton and voted for her during the recent presidential election.

Supporters of President Trump are expressing horror and disgust and surprise. Why?

..and this is somehow a surprise? The “deep state”, the “shadow government”, whatever the current crop of pundits want to label it as had a surprise and, in their scheme of things, a minor setback in November of 2016. Like an improv group in a stage performance, the electorate went “off script” and improvised. This is little more than a small speed bump… an inconvenience to those who truly control the levers of power.

In the 9th month of this administration we can see that when all is said and done, there is much more said than done. Surprise, surprise…NOT!

THE DEEP STATE: Where other men blindly follow the truth, remember, that nothing is true. Where other men are limited by morality or law, remember, everything is permitted.
