Insanity

“The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” We seem to be making the same decisions getting the same results over and over and over.

Straight jacket

I wrote this a year ago. In 12 months, little has changed.

My generation’s war was Vietnam. At the time we were told that we needed to “fight them over there or we would be fighting them over here”. We were also told that it was a matter of supporting democracy and winning hearts and minds. Eventually, America got tired and walked away.

For the past 40 years we have been involved, in one way or another, in the Middle East. Recently we have been informed that to “defeat ISIS” we have reinserted Army Rangers and a Marine expeditionary unit.

Until we make our borders secure, until we can screen every immigrant, why bother going overseas and killing people who might (big MIGHT) someday come here and hurt our citizens.

We interfere in other peoples affairs when we would not tolerate it in our own neighborhood by a foreign government.

When will Americas government stop being arrogant and thinking we know what is best for everyone else in the world a lot of people will stop hating us as much.

Meanwhile we treat our vets to substandard treatment while shipping millions overseas fixing things that we broke.

TPTB that sell us on the Military Adventurism don’t care about our Marines, Sailors and Soldiers lives, all they care about is either distracting from something or covering their economic behinds.

Albert Einstein is quoted as saying; “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.” We seem to be making the same decisions getting the same results over and over and over.

Therefore; by definition, as a nation we are insane.

A Prayer for March 3, 2018

Put on the whole armor of God

Prayer

Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6: 10-13

Analysis of the FISA memo

it is my opinion that the DOJ, FBI and the DNC colluded and conspired to rig a national presidential election in favor of Hillary Clinton

FBSpy

I like to do my own research and draw my own conclusions. Sometimes you need to defer to someone who has a better working knowledge of the situation. the information contained in the following link  is the Analysis from an intelligence professional

Here is the excerpted conclusion he draws:

“In conclusion, it is my opinion that the DOJ, FBI and the DNC colluded and conspired to rig a national presidential election in favor of Hillary Clinton, and paid a former foreign intelligence agent (if there is such a thing as a “former” intelligence agent) to assist. I suspected this was the case, as many Americans did. The difference here is that we have it documented by the People’s representatives and released for public viewing.

I’m not sure what consequences will come of this, if any, but please continue preparing for what may come. The Deep State is actively working to increase it’s power and influence. This is a war. As Bracken would say, “act accordingly”.

Errors of omission

“With regard to the House Intelligence Committee’s memorandum, the FBI was provided a limited opportunity to review this memo the day before the committee voted to release it,” the statement said. “As expressed during our initial review, we have grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy.”

Disingenuous? Inaccurate? Grave concerns about material omissions? HORSEHOCKEY!

000000000hidden-in-plain-sight

On last Sunday, prior to the House Intelligence Committee vote to release the FISA memo, FBI Director Christopher Wray was brought in to the House of Representatives secure room location to review the memo for accuracy. After 90 minutes he responded that there were no errors, in fact, contained therein.

On Wednesday, realizing that the White House was going to release the memo over his objection, the FBI issued a terse two-paragraph message laying bare its worries about the document.

The FBI & Justice Department had “stonewalled the House Oversight Committee for better than a year until they finally were forced to produce documents regarding the activities surrounding the FISA investigation under threat of subpoena and charges of Contempt of Congress.

After Chairman Nunes personally took FBI Director Christopher Wray to view the “Intel Memo” on Sunday night, and prior to the House Intel Committee vote to release the memo Monday evening, FBI Director Wray sent a Main Justice official and a “counterintelligence official” to view the content.

The two officials – one from the bureau’s counterintelligence division and the other from the legal division. These officials could not point to any factual inaccuracies. The top official within FBI Counter-Intelligence is still the same official who was present during the 2016/2017 “Trump Operation. His name is Bill Priestap.

On the trail to get this far, we have been introduced to a number of Department of Justice and FBI players. Names like FBI Agent Peter Strzok; his mistress FBI Attorney Lisa Page; their ideological comrade deposed Assistant FBI Director Andrew McCabe; FBI Chief Legal Counsel James Baker; DOJ-NSD head John P Carlin; along with DOJ Deputy Bruce Ohr; and his wife, Fusion-GPS contract employee Nellie Ohr. Fusion-GPS founder Glenn Simpson and his wife Mary Jacoby. These are a few of the names that have hit the headlines as a result of ongoing investigations into the politicization of the FBI and DOJ.

…. But there’s one name ALWAYS conspicuously absent, FBI Director of Counterintelligence, Bill Priestap.

When you understand how central Bill Priestap is to the entire 2016/2017 ‘Russian Conspiracy Operation‘, the absence of his name, amid all others, creates a curiosity.
Bill Priestap is the head of the FBI Counterintelligence operation. He was FBI Agent Peter Strozk’s direct boss. If anyone in congress really wanted to know if the FBI paid for the Christopher Steele Dossier, Bill Priestap is the guy who would know. That’s why Devin Nunes wanted to talk to him.

So there we have FBI Director James Comey telling congress on March 20th, 2017, that the reason he didn’t inform the statutory oversight “Gang of Eight” was because Bill Priestap (Director of Counterintelligence) recommended he didn’t do it.

Apparently, according to Comey, Bill Priestap carries a great deal of influence if he could get his boss to NOT perform a statutory obligation simply by recommending he doesn’t do it.

Then again, Comey’s blame-casting there is really called creating a “fall guy”. FBI Director James Comey is ducking responsibility in March 2017 by blaming FBI Director of Counterintelligence Bill Priestap for not informing congress of the operation that began in July 2016. (9 months prior).

At that moment, that very specific moment during that March 20th hearing, anyone who watches these hearings closely could see Comey was creating his own exit from getting ensnared in the consequences from the wiretapping and surveillance operation of President Donald Trump. In essence, Bill Priestap is James Comey’s shield from liability.

But more curiously for current discussion, there has been NO MENTION of Bill Priestap in any of the media revelations, despite his centrality to all of it.

Bill Priestap would have needed to authorize Peter Strzok to engage with Christopher Steele over the “Russian Dosssier”.

Bill Priestap would have needed to approve of the underlying documents that were used for both FISA applications (June/July and Sept/Oct).

Bill Priestap would be the person to approve of paying, or reimbursing, Christopher Steele for the Russian Dossier used in their counterintelligence operation and subsequent FISA application.

Without Bill Priestap involved, approvals, etc. the entire Russian/Trump Counterintelligence operation just doesn’t happen. Heck, James Comey’s March testimony in that regard is also evidence of Priestap’s importance.

So we all can see that Bill Priestap is a central figure.
•FBI Director James Comey defers to him;
•FBI Special Agent in Counterintelligence Peter Strzok reports to him.
Yet there’s absolutely no mention of Bill Priestap in any of the explosive investigative story-lines in the entire two months this story was breaking headlines.

Why?

The winds of change

“What has prompted the sudden flurry or resignations of “high-profile” actors between October 2017 and December 2017?”

000000000Winds-of-change

Suddenly, after the FBI Director had the opportunity of reviewing the House Intelligence Committee memo, Andrew McCabe has been “removed” from his post as deputy director. Happenstance? Coincidence?

There have been rumblings that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, (who was responsible, according to reports for extending the surveillance of Donald Trumps’ campaign), is also mentioned in the memo and soon will also be on his way out the door.

The House Intelligence Committee on Monday voted along straight party lines, with all Democrats voting “NO” to release the memo in question. The President has five days to object, but reports are the memo will come out soon… perhaps very soon.

President Trump’s recent executive order has declared a “national emergency” as a declaration of war against all forms of crime – not just human trafficking and human rights abuses.

The question then becomes; “What has prompted the sudden flurry or resignations of “high-profile” private sector persons between October 2017 and December 2017?” “Did they have advance warning that “something” was about to go down?” “What, if anything, do they have in common?”

What do they have in common? Clinton Foundation? John Podesta? Exploitation of personally identifiable data stolen by the rogue C.I.A.? Pedophilia? Money laundering? Drug and child sex trafficking? Murderous satanic rituals? Patent theft?

This Executive Order may very well be an avenue for anyone who was involved to be taken down.

If you read the EO there is mention of US citizens who illegally sell US assets out of the country. Possibly the Clinton foundation, Obama, Holder, Kerry and many others. It has been reported that Obama has retained “high-profile” counsel.

Time will tell. A concern on this is what is to keep the US from just taking corporations much like Venezuela does by simply naming them a corrupt criminal? Also…we haven’t declared a war via Congress since WWII.

There is an old Chinese curse; “May you live in interesting times.” Things are certainly getting interesting.

Un-BEAR-able speech

According to Rep. Dave Joyce (R-Ohio) the House Intelligence committee will hold a vote on the release of the memo. He states that the memo reveals systematic corruption within the DOJ and FBI; including the unlawful use of FISA-702(16)(17) data searches which were part of an elaborate DOJ-FBI surveillance program on the political campaign of candidate Donald Trump.

In a letter to Mark Zuckerberg and Jack Dorsey, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) called for Twitter and Facebook to conduct an investigation into whether Russian troll accounts had fueled the rise of the hashtag as part of a broader campaign.

An excerpt from the letter states: “If these reports are accurate, we are witnessing an ongoing attack by the Russian government through Kremlin-linked social media actors.”

The memo itself is classified and is under the control of the House Intelligence Committee which voted yesterday on whether the memo should be declassified and released to the public.

Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), a member of the Intel Committee stated publicly: (the memo) contains allegations of government abuses so shocking that they may be “”.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Cal), ranking Democrat on the committee is reported as saying the the memo is misleading and complicated and that the public would not understand it.

Now there are news reports that the FBI has “lost” 5 months worth of text messages immediately prior to the naming of Mueller as Special Counsel.

The drum beat continues for release of the Nunes memo but care must be taken to assure that the correct  process is followed that allows the larger story to come out without providing political cover for those intent on hiding the corruption. Immediate release might give instant gratification but would prove disastrous in the long-term.

IF we have top officials from various government agencies willing to depose an elected president, what else would they do?

Think of some of the shocking events that have happened. Would they dare?
And consider the progressives’ motto “by any means necessary”.

I believe that many citizens are either unconscious or unwilling to face what might be exposed by releasing the Nunes memo but, if done correctly to avoid shielding wrongdoers, we should remember these words from Patrick Henry at the Virginia Convention -March 23, 1775; ” For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it might cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst, and the provide for it.”

Census Question Dreamer Nightmare?

A request by the Justice Department to ask people about their citizenship status in the 2020 census is stirring a broad backlash.

i-am-not-a-racist-a-homophobe-or-extremist-i-29457159

A request by the Justice Department to ask people about their citizenship status in the 2020 census is stirring a broad backlash. “Such a question would likely depress participation in the 2020 census from immigrants who fear the government could use the information to target them,” wrote Sen. Dianne Feinstein, ranking Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, in a letter signed by her and four of her Democratic colleagues. “This chilling effect could lead to broad inaccuracies across the board, from how congressional districts are drawn to how government funds are distributed,” the senators said.

The census says some $675 billion, or nearly a fifth of all federal spending, relies on its numbers. The federal government also uses the numbers to dole out seats in the House among the states, which then use the numbers to draw their own lines.

Justice Department officials say they want citizenship information so they can enforce voting-rights laws and shore up confidence in election results.

Some analysts say that if citizenship is on the form, and immigrants refuse to answer, it could mean states such as California wouldn’t have their full population counted. That, in turn, could mean the state would lose out on a congressional seat it would otherwise get.

Apparently the Dems don’t want any questions of citizenship in a census as it would lead to uncovering the voter fraud in many liberal strongholds, like more votes than voters. That’s a real hard one to explain and they don’t like being caught.

The fact that we have elected officials more concerned about the realm of illegal groups and not the interest of  the country requiring voter integrity is tragic.

If illegals shun the census then states like California might not get as much money as they have in the past to throw away on those who are not here legally. Good. Such states should not be given any money for illegals.

Some analysts say that if citizenship is on the form, and immigrants
refuse to answer, it could mean states such as California wouldn’t have
their full population counted. That, in turn, could mean the state would
lose out on a congressional seat it would otherwise get.

Where does it say in the Constitution, (or any other Federal law for that matter), that foreign nationals, illegal aliens, non-U.S. citizens are represented by a seat in the U.S. congress?

“This chilling effect could lead to broad inaccuracies across the board,
from how congressional districts are drawn to how government funds are
distributed,” the senators said.

Just exactly where in the Constitution, (or any other Federal law for that matter), does it state that illegal aliens or foreign nationals are entitled to government funds?

The census asked about citizenship during the great migrations of the 19th and 20th Centuries because the government had a legitimate reason to want to know where people came from. We now have a large immigrant population, some of whom are legal and some of whom are not. Certainly it is legitimate to want to determine who this population is.

The Democratic Party has wanted to blur differences between citizens and non-citizens with things like sanctuary cities and drivers licenses for illegal immigrants. But the citizenship question will, as it did in the past, shed light on just who is here legally and who is not. Count on a bitter fight from Democrats and liberals to keep this question off the 2020 census forms.

In ancient times the strongest words a person could utter was “Civis Romanus sum” or “I am a Roman citizen”. You could, according to legend, walk the length and breadth of the known world protected only by those words. People would refrain from harming you simply because they knew if the smallest harm came to you that the response of your government would be swift, sure, and in the case of those who did the harm, quite unpleasant.

In that spirit, we who qualify should proudly declare;

“Civis Americanus Sum”

Strange Bedfellows

Let that sink in. Senator Durbin was so “moved” by his young NAKASEC friends, that he will be willing to shut down the Federal Government if they don’t get their way.

00000000bedfellows02

Once again, the Deep State, in collusion with our dysfunctional “public servants” in the Senate, (from both parties) and with the willing cooperation of the (false) news media have fed a willing public a huge portion of chicken crap while telling citizens it was chicken soup. The average Joe & Jane Sixpack don’t understand why there are so many elected officials willing to risk our newly invigorated economy as well as our national security on behalf of illegal aliens.

As usual, there is more to this than meets the eye if you are willing to do a little digging.

On June 15, 2012, then-President Barack Obama delivered a speech in the Rose Garden announcing his intention to unilaterally grant “temporary relief from deportation proceedings” for young people who met certain criteria. The Executive Order, referred to as Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, was “not amnesty,” according to Obama, “…this is not immunity.  This is not a path to citizenship.  It’s not a permanent fix.

One month after the president’s speech, a young woman named Tereza Lee met with about 40 young illegal immigration organizers-in-training to tell them the story about how she was the inspiration for Dick Durbin’s original 2001 DREAM Act, which consistently failed to get the votes it needed to pass, even while Democrats had the majorities in the House and Senate.

Last July, Senator Durbin, the Democrats #3 in the Senate and lead man on DACA talks with President Trump, invited HANA Center representatives into a “closed strategy meeting…about [the] Dream Act.” The group boasted about it on their Facebook page on July 24 2017.

Just two months before Dick Durbin had his secret meeting with the HANA Center, the group hosted the literal terrorist murderer Rasmea Odeh of the Arab American Action Network as their “honoree” for a “gala event.” Odeh is infamous for her role in the murders of the young Jewish boys Edward Joffe and his best friend Leon Kanner in a Jerusalem supermarket on February 21st 1969.

May 11, 2011, Senator Durbin re-introduced the DREAM Act in the 112th Congress with the co-sponsorship of 32 members of the U.S. Senate, including California Senators Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein, as well as Senator Daniel Akaka (D-HI), member of the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus .

The first week of December 2016, Senator Durbin shared the story of Luke Hwang, a “gifted student and community leader who is currently a PhD candidate in chemistry at the University of Chicago,” on the floor of the US Senate. Senator Durbin used Luke Hwang and several others like him for maximum propaganda advantage.

In Senator Durbin’s speech he explained that Luke Hwang  “…is currently a PhD candidate in chemistry at the University of Chicago. He also works as a researcher at the university. In his spare time, he volunteers with the Chicago Korean American Resource and Cultural Center, an organization that provides services to disadvantaged members of the community.

He failed to mention that the Korean American Resource and Cultural Center (now part of the HANA Center) is part of a radical network run by old pro-North Korean activists.

In December 2017, NAKASEC and affiliates visited the offices of Senators Dianne Feinstein, Chuck Schumer, Tim Kaine, Mark Warner and Senator Dick Durbin. According to the NAKASEC website, Senator Durbin was deeply affected by the visit.

Moved by the efforts of members of NAKASEC and HANA Center from Chicago, Senator Durbin confirmed publicly that he will vote “no” on the upcoming CR (Continuing Resolution) if the DREAM Act is not attached.

Let that sink in. Senator Durbin was so “moved” by his young NAKASEC friends, that he will be willing to shut down the Federal Government if they don’t get their way.

Apparently Senators Dianne Feinstein, Chuck Shumer, Tim Kaine, Mark Warner, Lindsay Graham and Flake were also moved to put illegals above our military and our own citizens. Senators, the enemies of America are forever in your debt.

The sky is falling (and other government shutdown myths)

The hysteria peddlers using this terminology, and the media that purposely play to it, must know these two words emit an extreme emotional response. The phrase essentially becomes a weapon to be used on political opponents.

000000000a-government shutdown

OH NO! A “government shutdown”!

The hysteria peddlers using this terminology, and the media that purposely play to it, must know these two words emit an extreme emotional response. The phrase essentially becomes a weapon to be used on political opponents.

This enables the media to have undue influence in spending and undermines the sole power of the House on this issue.

A budget always involves the House of Representatives, as it alone constitutionally must initiate all government spending. “All bills for raising revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives” (Article I, Sec. 7, Clause 1). This places the people in charge of taxation. The Senate cannot initiate a tax bill but can adjust any initiated by the House.

So what does a “government shutdown” look like?

Do the president and vice president resign now that the government ends? No, they stay on the job and receive full pay as before.

Does Congress fly out of Washington D. C. the following day and cease to draw their pay, and the Supreme Court cease to deliberate on constitutional questions? Does the army come home and cease to protect us?

No! No, NO!

Do states, counties, and cities no longer function? No again, they have their own tax base and policemen, prisons, and teachers remain in place.

Will we still get mail? Yes. The U.S. Postal Service functions as an independent business unit.

Will we still get Social Security benefits, food stamps, unemployment compensation and veterans’ benefits? Yes!

Why then the hysteria? Because these two words, “government shutdown,” and the possibility of missed food stamps send the largely uninformed into a frenzy—they finally awake from their stupor.

They largely know nothing of the wrangling of government to protect them from themselves and oppose any proposed government diet that might reduce their daily feed. They worshipfully listen to the party and political leaders that are least likely to disturb this base.

There will never be a government shut down because none of these things will ever happen, short of an overthrow of the government from within, the collapse of our financial structure , or a successful invasion from without. So stop the media frenzy and hysterical over-reaction.

The sky is NOT falling and a piece of it didn’t just hit you on the head Chuck Shumer, er, Nancy Pelosi, er, Chicken Little.

The most powerful branch of today’s government is the Fourth: the permanent federal bureaucracy that is nowhere mentioned in the Constitution. The Trump administration can best be viewed, perhaps, as a struggle to the death between American voters and the federal employees who are paid to serve them.

The constant media drumbeat of anti-Trump propaganda is, in many instances, taking its’ toll. The question is not; “Will the Trump presidency survive?”, but, more accurately and more darkly; “Will the Republic survive?” And, perhaps, more to the point, will the majority of Americans just shrug and accept what they have been given?
