Nothing new there. They have been trying to get the citizens guns for quite a while.
I made an appointment with county sheriff when I lived in Minnesota. I asked him about gun grabs. His response: I do not work for the U.S. government. I work for the people of this county. They voted me in, and I will stay until I lose an election. Besides this county is 44 miles wide. We cannot get there in time if someone is dealing with a break in.
Nice man. Ask your county officers how they see gun grabs working for YOUR county.
