When my kids were young. They wanted candy or whatever. I sent one of them out with a little wagon of my garden tomatoes. Another one babysat. And another mowed lawns or raked up a leaf pile.—– Good to learn early that very few things in life are free.
Also had a chart that recorded if they did their home chores.
Love those kids that became responsible adults.
