There is a great delusion that has fallen upon the land.
Those that fall prey to it are what we callĀ sheeple or asleep.
Those that do not fall prey to it are awoke or believers.
Those awoke can not understand why the asleep are being so illogical where their dismay for their candidate losing and their hate for the winner override basic civility, survival instincts, and pride in this country.
It is not logical and that is why many describe them as mentally ill or delusional.
They are the ones sitting beside people they hate in a sinking boat and they hate those people so much they are scooping water into the boat while the people they hate are bailing.
Rather than see the people they hate survive, they are content to help end them with the end result ending themselves. Anyone can see this is not logical, their hate is stronger than the strongest instinct most creatures have, which is to survive.
When parents hate their enemy more than they love themselves or their children and are willing to sacrifice all just to smite their enemy, there is not a solution.
There is so much hate now, more than I have ever seen in my lifetime it does seem like these must be the end times, the climax, the culmination of mankind.
Mankind, hmmm, an oxymoron in one word.
Lately, I have been having a feeling, or a calling that being kind to other people is the most important thing I can do. It is more important than their politics, race, status, class, sex or sexual identity. It is important to me to conduct myself this way regardless of how other people act. In a sea of unkindness, with everyone out for themselves, no one may notice your efforts, but you know and you are doing it as much for you as you are doing it for them.
