Isaiah 33:14

The sinners in Zion are afraid;
Fearfulness has seized the hypocrites:
“ Who among us shall dwell with the devouring fire?
Who among us shall dwell with everlasting burnings?”

The sinners and hypocrites in Zion can be one of two things: The phrase can certainly apply to the land of Israel, Zion being a part of Jerusalem where the Temple was built. The prophet could be alluding to the fact that there are hypocrites among the people of Israel. It can also be dual and refer to the church, because God frequently symbolizes the church by using the name “Zion.” There can be, among those who are part of the church of God, sinners and hypocrites.

Of War and dead terrorists

Ok, so let’s recap here. When useful, Soleimani was an ally.

It has been said that those who refuse to learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

Here is today’s history American lesson: The 2001 uprising in Herat was a coordinated insurrection and uprising in the Afghan city of Herat as part of the United States war in Afghanistan. The city was captured on November 12 by Northern Alliance forces as well as Special Forces of the United States, the United Kingdom and the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The U.S. Special Operations teams consisted of U.S. Army Rangers and Delta Force under the command of CENTCOM General Tommy Franks. Iranian forces consisted of agents of the Quds Force under the command of Major General Yahya Rahim Safavi, commander of the IRGC, and Major General Qassem Soleimani, the commander of Iran’s Quds Force. The Northern Alliance faction consisted of over 5,000 militiamen under the command of Ismail Khan, a commander in the previous Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan and former governor of Herat before the Taliban came into power in 1995.

Ok, so let’s recap here. When useful, Soleimani was an ally. If killing him the way he was killed after he did not serve the immediate agenda is the status quo for the U.S., then the entire world needs to take note of how the Deep State in control of the military mind works. Killing Soleimani, especially the way this happened, was VERY BAD for America’s future when cooperation of allies might be needed.

Privacy?

Whether we like it or not, we’re waiving our right to privacy when we do anything online. Everything we do is monitored and recorded. And that data is both leveraged and sold. There is no such thing as privacy online.

If you sit in front of a computer all day, you might not give a second thought to checking your personal email or taking care of some digital errands. What about taking calls from friends or family at the office? Surfing the web on your phone?

You’d better think twice. Chances are during working hours, all of your activities — personal or not — are being monitored. Someone might even be watching. “Hidden” cameras are just about everywhere, after all.

Big tech companies are watching, too. Facebook is serving you location-based ads, even after you opt out of location tracking.

Any activities performed on company-owned equipment, such as a computer, are fair game. These are some of the things your employer can track or access with the right technology:

  • Content on your screen or files stored on disk drives
  • The amount of time you spend on and off your computer
  • How many keystrokes entered during a specific period
  • Your browsing history

As with hardware, any use of company-owned or licensed software opens the door for tracking. Whether it be email or instant messaging for personal or work reasons, your employer is allowed to review your communications.

Some business email systems automatically copy and create backups of all messages that pass through. With the use of specialized software, referred to as a keylogger, your employer could save copies of email drafts you never even sent. In this case, deleting your emails is futile.

Do you drive a corporate car occasionally or regularly for work-related travel? If you do, take note.

Many companies utilize GPS to track an employee’s whereabouts in a company-owned vehicle. Gathered information includes:

  • Mileage
  • Route
  • Driving behavior, including speed
  • Time spent in and out of the vehicle

Employee location tracking isn’t exclusive to cars. If your employer provides you with a smartphone, tablet or laptop, you can expect the company to have some monitoring or tracking system installed.

Be warned: The device may continue sending your location long after your work shift ends.

If you’re using a work Apple iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, your company can set up supervision settings.

Supervision allows the administrator to apply additional restrictions such as preventing access to the App Store, filtering web usage or disabling AirDrop.

If you’re active on social media, assume your employer pays attention to your posts, likes and tweets.

Be sensible about what you share online and check your company’s social media guidelines.

Whether we like it or not, we’re waiving our right to privacy when we do anything online. Everything we do is monitored and recorded. And that data is both leveraged and sold. There is no such thing as privacy online. When you are on your employer’s dime you are on your employer’s time. The amount of work loss and productivity stoppages from people “playing” instead of working is mind boggling. And it’s getting worse and worse with every generation.

It’s ALIVE!

In today’s world, you cannot promise people absolute confidentiality. Why would you voluntarily give more of your personal information to a company that is owned by the parent company of Google

DNA testing is a booming global business enabled by the internet. Millions of people have sent samples of their saliva to commercial labs in hopes of learning something new about their personal health or heritage, primarily in the United States and Europe.

Industry giants Ancestry.com, 23andMe, MyHeritage and FamilyTreeDNA market their services online, share test results on websites, and even offer tutorials on how to search for relatives in phone directories, or share results in social media. They often also claim rights to your genetic data and sell access to their databases to big pharmaceutical and medtech companies. It’s part of a worrying trend of corporations to acquire personal data about people and act in their best interests, not yours.

The Pentagon has advised military members to avoid using take-home DNA kits because of concerns about “unintended security consequences and increased risk to the joint force and mission.

Some things to consider;
* DNA tests can’t be anonymous. Your DNA is an unique marker of your identity that could be mishandled no matter what.

* You will jeopardize the anonymity of family members. By putting your own DNA in the hands of companies your (known or unknown) relatives could be identifiable to others, possibly against their wishes.

  • A pair of socks is a better gift. You may be tempted by special offers around holidays such as one, offering 30% off genetic tests for Father’s Day. Consider that dad might not want to be part of a commercial science experiment.
  • You will become the product. Your genetic code is valuable. Once you opt in to sharing, you have no idea what company gets access to it, nor for what purpose.
  • Big pharma wants your DNA. 23andMe revealed a $300 million USD deal with pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline in 2018 that gives them access to aggregate customer data. Calico Life Sciences, a medtech company owned by Google’s parent company, Alphabet, is the primary research partner of Ancestry.com.
  • Genes can be hacked. Scientists have discovered how to store data and even animated GIFs in DNA, and even believe malware could be placed in DNA to compromise the security of computers holding databases. Still trust them?

Companies do what they can to strip away personal information from the genetic codes, but anyone who has been the victim of credit card fraud or identity theft know that anonymizing data is far from foolproof.

In today’s world, you cannot promise people absolute confidentiality. Why would you voluntarily give more of your personal information to a company that is owned by the parent company of Google, (Alphabet)?

Political Correctness Can Get You Killed

Peace is always the goal in every society, but peace cannot be accomplished by turning a blind eye to the threat and hoping it will go away.

Former Secret Service, CIA agent issues warning: Prepare for Iran sleeper cells to strike rural America

Posted by Anthony Sabio | Jan 4, 2020 | Must Reads, News, Investigations, Law and Legal, Featured, Patrol

IRAN TENSIONS COME TO A BOILING POINT: IS MAIN STREET READY?

In the wake of growing tensions in the Middle East, the United States has made a deliberate strike against the most prolific state sponsor of terrorism.

The killing of Iran’s Quds Force General, Qassem Soleimani, has sparked much debate across the aisle of whether or not this action is an act of war by President Trump.

Regardless of where you stand, the act of terrorism has increased for months before the US response. The question is, is America ready for attacks in the homeland?

As a country, we have been blinded by the possibility of a concentrated attack on US soil and many Americans, including our politicians, have forgotten the grim reality of 9/11 and not given our adversaries the respect they deserve.

We have allowed our guard to be lowered with debates of human rights for open borders, disregarding threats on social media and handcuffing the hands of our law enforcement officers to protect and serve.

Art Del Cueto, the Vice President of the National Border Patrol Union and President of the Arizona Border Patrol Union, touched on it this week:

“We need to take securing our nation’s borders very serious. With the huge rise in individuals claiming asylum, we truthfully don’t know enough about those individuals past, much less their true intentions. Drug cartels are the ones that control our southern borders and they do not care about human lives, it’s all about the money,” he said.

Del Cueto rightfully pointed out that the border opens us up to terrorists walking right into America.

“They would have no problem making deals with terrorist organizations to ensure safe passage into our country,” he pointed out.

Furthermore, intelligence has shown that Iran has embedded terrorist sleeper cells within the US and was proven correct with the prosecution and conviction of Hezbollah operative Ali Kourani and Samer el-Debek in New York City.

The new debate is not a matter of if an attack will happen, it’s a matter of when and where.

The act of terrorism is instilling fear within your enemy with the goal of creating mass chaos amongst the people in order to gain leverage and weaken the will to fight back. As the administration ramps up our overseas presence to stand against this terrorist state, we need to do the same here at home.

Targets are chosen through a calculated criteria with the ultimate goal of creating as much physical and emotional destruction as possible to gain the biggest headline.

Conventional target cities like NYC, LA and DC are always on the radar, but with constant threats to those locations, have become harder to execute a successful campaign. Softer targets in the country seem more ideal for a successful operation.

First responders in smaller cities need to be prepared with the reality that they are on the radar with locations such as malls, educational institutions, and event centers being prime targets with the substantial amount of people congregating.

Due diligence of preparation needs to extend from Wall Street to Main Street; for the Iranian terrorist regime, nothing is off the table.

We must take it upon ourselves as Americans to become harder targets. We must throw out the conventional fear of being socially and politically correct with identifying unusual activities and reporting it to the local authorities.

We need to secure our border to reduce the amount of possible terrorists from entering. We need to understand that our government has failed us in protecting our homeland and force our politicians to secure our borders.

We need to stand together to fight this enemy and understand that this war is not about political motives or social-economical righteousness.

This war is deep rooted in cultural religious views between radical Islam and the western world, with the United States being the largest adversary against their movement. Peace is always the goal in every society, but peace cannot be accomplished by turning a blind eye to the threat and hoping it will go away.

Peace comes from facing our adversaries and standing strong together, undivided.

Prayer for Saturday, 1/4/2020

People do not like to hear such a message. They do not like to hear that things are going down the tubes, and especially that they are personally responsible.

Ezekiel 3:16-21

(16) Now it came to pass at the end of seven days that the word of the LORD came to me, saying, (17) “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me: (18) When I say to the wicked, “You shall surely die,” and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life, that same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. (19) Yet, if you warn the wicked, and he does not turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul. (20) “Again, when a righteous man turns from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I lay a stumbling block before him, he shall die; because you did not give him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. (21) Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man that the righteous should not sin, and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; also you will have delivered your soul.”

People do not like to hear such a message. They do not like to hear that things are going down the tubes, and especially that they are personally responsible. But that is basically what the watchman’s message is. Nothing changes unless it begins in the individual. The individual must change! He must repent and go God’s way.

Sic Semper Tyrannis

What is troubling is that the political process is controlled by the political parties and not the electorate.

Thus always to tyrants

Attributed to Brutus at the time of Julius Caesar’s assassination, and to John Wilkes Booth at the time of Abraham Lincoln’s assassination; whether it was actually said at either of these events is disputed. Shorter version from originalsic semper evello mortem tyrannis |”thus always death will come to tyrants”|. State motto of Virginia, adopted in 1776.

The state motto of Virginia is “Sic Semper Tyrannis,” meaning “Thus Always to Tyrants.” The motto was adopted in 1776, with the words symbolizing victory over tyranny. Virginia’s state motto was recommended by George Mason to be incorporated into the Seal of Virginia during the 1776 Virginia Convention. Even though the words are Latin, the exact origins are unknown, unlike the mottoes of most states in the US.

One very unique factor of the state motto of Virginia is that it is thoroughly incorporated into the state seal. The state seal is circular, with a garland of flowers forming an inner circle. Within this circle, two figures actually act out the meaning of the state motto. The female image represents the Roman figure, Virtus, which is a figure of peace. The male figure represents Tyranny, who lies at the foot of Virtus. Virtus is shown holding a long spear, and the whole impression is that of a battle that has already been won.

Virginia’s Democratic politicians appear to be ready to drive the state into a period of massive civil unrest with no regard for citizens’ wishes, but conservatives in the commonwealth will not be stripped of their rights without a fight.

In the face of expected wide-reaching bans on so-called assault weapons, high-capacity magazines, and other arms protected under the 2nd Amendment, Virginians are standing up to Democratic tyranny.

Even now, 79 percent of Virginia’s counties have enacted some form of 2nd Amendment sanctuary laws, and that number is only expected to grow.

It’s safe to say opposition to proposed anti-gun laws is widespread.

Despite this, the state’s Democratic leaders continue to threaten the use of force to bring its residents to heel.

A major in the Marine Corps reserves took an opportunity during a Dec. 3 meeting to warn the Board of Supervisors of Fairfax County about trouble on the horizon.

Ben Joseph Woods spoke about his time in the military, his federal law enforcement career and his fears about where politicians are taking Virginia.

“I work plainclothes law enforcement,” Woods said. “I walk around without a uniform, people don’t see my badge, people don’t see my gun, and I can tell you: People are angry.” (Emphasis added)

Woods said that the situation in Virginia is becoming so dangerous that he is close to moving his own wife and unborn child out of the state.

“The reason is because my fellow law enforcement officers I’ve heard on more than one occasion tell me they would not enforce these bills regardless of whether they believe in them ideologically,” Woods said, “because they believe that there are so many people angry — in gun shops, gun shows, at bars we’ve heard it now — people talking about tarring and feathering politicians in a less-than-joking manner.”

As Woods mentioned politicians themselves could very well be in danger because of their decisions, several rebel yells broke out as the crowd cheered him on.

There have been calls from conservatives and Libertarians for a convention of the states to address this. It is my belief that this is a mistake.

I have been told that the Chinese characters for “opportunity” and “danger” are the same.

The idea of a “convention of the states” is, similarly, both an opportunity and a danger.

US Constitution Article V states; “The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.”

Note the following small detail: the President is not a part of the amendment process. So what difference does it make when the President says that he or she does not like a particular proposed amendment, and they will not support it?

None.

There are essentially two ways spelled out in the Constitution for how to propose an amendment. One has never been used.

The second method prescribed is for a Constitutional Convention to be called by two-thirds of the legislatures of the States, and for that Convention to propose one or more amendments. These amendments are then sent to the states to be approved by three-fourths of the legislatures or conventions.

This route has never been taken, and there is discussion in political science circles about just how such a convention would be convened, and what kind of changes it would bring about.

What is troubling is that the political process is controlled by the political parties and not the electorate. Therefore, it is most likely that the form and wording of amendments would be controlled by the same folks who are currently in charge. NOT a comforting thought.

Also, once a convention of the states IS called there is no guarantee that additional proposed amendments would be brought forward in addition to those which triggered the convention in the first place. AGAIN, NOT a comforting thought and an open gate to the law of unintended consequences.

Be careful what you ask for.

Resolved for the New Year

Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and depart from evil.

Proverbs 3:5-8

(5) Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
And lean not on your own understanding;
(6) In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
(7) Do not be wise in your own eyes;
Fear the LORD and depart from evil.
(8) It will be health to your flesh,
And strength to your bones.

In every aspect of life, we must take God into account. We should seek His counsel regarding our home, community, work, and play. This is not an elective but an absolute necessity.

This requires humility, but if we remember that He made us, and we are dependent upon Him for everything, the proper attitude comes easier. If we do not do this, we are foolishly failing to acknowledge the One whose thoughts and ways are higher than heaven is above the earth. All of our ways are in the hand of this Almighty Sovereign; success and safety are of the Lord.

For all your days in 2020;

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee;
The LORD make His face to shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee;
The LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee p
eace.

Have it your way

He went on to compare the level of estrogen in the Impossible Burger to soy milk, writing that eating four of the vegetable burgers daily would result in a human male growing breasts

Burger King’s ‘Impossible Burger’ Has 18 Million Times More Estrogen Than Regular Whopper

A doctor recently broke down the facts behind Burger King’s vegan Impossible Burger, discovering that it may not be a healthier option when it comes to caloric or protein intake, and that it has a whopping 18 million times more estrogen than a standard Whopper.

Writing for TSLN.com, Dr. James Strangle explains the chemical process used to create Burger King’s Impossible Burger, and alludes to the possibility that the engineered vegetable burger may be less healthy than a regular Whopper.

Strangle starts by noting that the Impossible Burger clocks in at 630 calories “mostly from the added oils,” compared to the original Whopper’s 660.

“So, about 5% less calories, this is not a huge improvement,” wrote Strangle.

Strangle goes on to explain that the Impossible Burger’s protein, though seemingly only three grams lower than the regular Whopper, is not equal to animal protein:

The impossible whopper has 25 grams of protein. The whopper has 28 grams. Seems pretty equal, only 11% less protein in the impossible whopper. However, not all proteins are created equal. There are 20 amino acids. Nine of which are essential, meaning your body cannot make them so they are required in the diet. Each of those essential amino acids must meet a certain level to make a complete protein profile. If any essential amino acid does not hit the required amount, it is said to be rate limiting. As an analogy, picture nine chains connected in a line. All of the chains need to lift 100 pounds to carry the load. If one chain can only support 50 pounds, it doesn’t matter how much the others can support. The 50 pound chain is the rate limiting chain.

The doctor goes on to explain the process used to make the Impossible Burger have the look of meat, writing that the beef-like appearance of the vegetable-based burger is a product of genetic engineering.

According to Strangle, the red appearance of the vegetable patty comes from genetically splicing a soybean and yeast:

The bacterial enzyme that binds the nitrogen is damaged by the presence of oxygen so the bacterium makes the leghemoglobin to bind oxygen to keep it out of the way. To make enough leghemoglobin to add to the impossible whopper, scientists spliced the gene for leghemoglobin into yeast. They can grow the yeast easily and separate the leghemoglobin and add it to the impossible whopper. So the impossible whopper is technically a genetically modified organism (GMO).

Finally, the doctor explains the radically high amount of estrogen featured in each burger.

“The impossible whopper has 44 mg of estrogen and the whopper has 2.5 ng of estrogen,” wrote Strangle. “That means an impossible whopper has 18 million times as much estrogen as a regular whopper.”

He went on to compare the level of estrogen in the Impossible Burger to soy milk, writing that eating four of the vegetable burgers daily would result in a human male growing breasts:

Just six glasses of soy milk per day has enough estrogen to grow boobs on a male. That’s the equivalent of eating four impossible whoppers per day. You would have to eat 880 pounds of beef from an implanted steer to equal the amount of estrogen in one birth control pill.

In short, the Impossible Burger is a genetically modified organism filled with calorie-dense oils that can make a man grow breasts if eaten in sufficient quantity.

The standard Whopper, of course, is “a ¼ lb* of savory flame-grilled beef topped with juicy tomatoes, fresh lettuce, creamy mayonnaise, ketchup, crunchy pickles, and sliced white onions on a soft sesame seed bun,” according to Burger King.
